So what are the OHM's readings. Mine has two wires. One from the sender terminal. The other to a tank screw for ground..

Bob,

The sender is 3 to 90 ohms. The high end is full, so of the instrument says "Way Full" the circuit is probably open.

Yes James. I do take time to sleep once in a while. When I can find the time. Maybe. ( GRIN ) At 71 I should cut back on what I do every day. I heard a saying that you can't die till all your projects are done. Linda says that I'm caring that to an extreme. Last year while I was making a GMC. I never mentioned that I was also gutting, and remodeling, by myself. A 5 bed .room rental house that we've been renting out since 1984 at that same time as the GMC. We own some rental houses, apartments, and some warehouse units. Yesterday I had to replace a gas valve in a commercial warehouse furnace. A belt in a cloths drier, and a little time on the GMC for fun. Then work on one of our 2 - 2008 Chevy up landers. As both have had run in's with Deer lately. Both to the right front. The body shop said that it would take 7 to 10 days to do Linda's lift van. That van can't be away from home for that long. It's critical that she have it here all the time. So I'll have to fix it here. If I'm fixing one. Might as well do two. Plus put about $6,000 in my pocket for the GMC. So yesterday I picked up a fender, and bumper to fix mine first. Learn on mine. Then fix her's. So yesterday afternoon. I straitened the hood. That blew away 3 hours. Got all three pieces prepped for paint. 2 more hours. Put them in the booth to put the base coat on. Then the top clear coat. Another 2 hours. Clean the spray gun. Then put everything away. Another hour. E-mails till 1 AM. Shower. Hit the rack by 1:45. Up at 6 AM. Back at it. Got back home about 11 AM from putting a ceramic floor down in a bathroom. Death can't get me if it can't catch me. RIGHT? The life of Bobby D

Bob,

you blow me away! You did do that before with the stuff you have done to
your GMCs, but your mail is even better.

I take my hat off to you.

Geez, sounds like home. Worst thing about rentals is the renters. Specially
if they are relatives. BTDT. Only have one of those left. A manufactured
home in a 55 + park. Daughter lives there. You know who was up at the same
time as you were writing that email. Me. If I get 6 hours sleep in one
piece, that is a long stretch. Between just the stuff everyday living
throws at us, there is brake bleeders, torsion bar tools, wireless air
systems, and GMC repairs for customers to keep up with. DON'T LOOK BACK
OVER YOUR SHOULDER, SUMTHIN' MIGHT BE GAINING ON YOU. In my case, since
new years, Judy and I have been shuttling back and forth between Salem and
San Francisco. Her oldest daughter is terminally Ill with Cancer. She only
has a few days left. Tough stuff. Hug Linda every day, take the time for
family.

He will henceforth be known as 'Bob the Slumlord' Smile I'm closing on the daughter's rental house Monday afternoon. I told her she gets her inheritance early.
