Can anyone tell me the location of the turn signal flasher? Usually you can hear the flasher and trace the location but there is no sound at all.

Any suggestions?

I have a 1976 Elaganza II.

There is always time to meet new friends. 1976 Elaganza II mostly stock. Kamloops,BC Can. Just north of Vancouver,BC

I found mine to the right of the steering wheel column. It was hanging loose, just by the wires. I suspect that GM has a specific holder for it, but I have no real idea where it is supposed to be. If you are thinking of going to LED lights change to an led flasher for better operation.
If you cannot hear it, maybe it's not there. Suggest a copy of Alan's enlarged wiring diagram to assist in your search.

Mine was in a clip attached to the back of the instrument panel just right
of center -- about where the others fell from.

Funny, I just replaced the same thing last weekend. On the '77 Birchaven it was located on the LHS (looking forward) of the steering column, up behind the dash. I couldn't really see it, so much as I felt it. Unclipping it and replacing it was a breeze. Solved the issue with my slow turn signals. They had the replacement at Autozone for $12.
