I've run into awnings on GMC's that don't tie into structural vertical members in the outside walls. The awnings at Applied do. As to distance from you. Zip Dees come from their plant in the Chicago area. As the 3 I've bought from Applied came from that plant. And It's important to support our GMC vendors. As these are the people that we depend on to reproduce the parts that are critical for our GMCs survival. It's the old story. We need them more then they need us.
