This weekend an old friend showed up. A wet spot in the rug even with the rear of the bathroom but in the middle of the isle. Had it once before but I thought it was from overflow of fresh water tank when I was filling it and not paying attention. It was tough to level the coach due to site and it was down a bit at the rear and tilted toward the passenger side. Problem went away when I shut off hose. It didn't show up for two days and then got real wet fast. I am assuming that fill connection which is in power cord box has a bad hose or pinhole in the piping. I can't see anything in closet unless I start digging. Anyone experienced this before? How is this line routed over to the bathroom? Above or below? Is there a takeoff for cold water to the sink or does that come from the bath area plumbing? Going away for a week on the 14 th and don't know if I should start digging into this before going away. God knows there are enough other things that I should probably do. Any insight is welcomed.

John,
Both of our coaches had a failure of the fitting on the back of the
inlet/regulator. It's been a bunch of years, but I seem to recall
that it was a plastic elbow that had cracked. I replaced both with brass as
that's all that was available. Of course, it only leaked
with pressure on it since it is higher than the tank. Had to take out the
panel in the back of the closet for access.

Jon,
It is a stretch so no telling what else got changed, but in many GMCs, the watertank vent fitting is in the forward-inboard corner of the tank. That puts it real close to where you are seeing the leak. When my vent got broken, the water ran across the floor under the carpet and made a big wet spot in the middle of the hall. When accused, the dog said,"Don't look at me Dad, I didn't do that!" She has always been honest, so I looked into it further. I plugged it until we got home.
