I'm installing the Viair compressor.
It appears that it has a check valve built in. Does this mean I can eliminate the inoperative separate valve?

The viair has a buildin cheque valve on the "in" side. Thers should also be a cheque valve between the compressor and your airsystem. It may be attached to the braided hose that comes with the compressor
