About three years ago, I wanted to have my ratty dash recovered. the fella that was going to do it said that it would be a lot easier if I could take the dash out. So, I took it out....BIG MISTAKE!! By the time I got it out, that 35yr old dash...sitting in the sun all those years made it brittle as hell. So, everything it touched...plink...it broke. Came out in about 50 pieces. So, I put the gauge cluster resting on the column, and drove it that way while I bought and worked on a Jenkins Dash. Finally got it completed and installed this summer...took me all summer! So, here's some pics of it.

Larry,
I can see why you put in lot of time, It shows up.
The 77-78 does have a problem from that standpoint of being fragile.
I know you will truly enjoy all he work you put in.

We also use another dash that is little easier to install for our
customers, it is a Mac Dash.
It does not cover all the front, but the main portion.
