Due to a big fire that surrounded our house, we are having to live in our
SOB until the house is de-smoked. We're staying at the Wine Country RV Park
here in Prosser, WA. When we came back here from working on the house
yesterday Diana noticed a GMC in one of the RV spots. The owner is Terry
Fry (?) and he and his wife and a few friends were enjoying the late
afternoon cooldown. He inherited his nice looking rig from his dad Bill Fry
(?) that was an active member in the Cascaders and other clubs. Had a nice
little talk with him, and he and his wife are using the GMC quit a bit.
It's just amazing how often you meet another owner...

Hey Jerry;

Thanks for the thoughts. When we had to evacuate, we didn't know what we
were going to come home to. I had to drive the SOB through the fire that
had crossed our road (police were leading me). The firemen saved the
structures (house, garage, some vehicles) but didn't have time to save the
toys. Luckily the Stretch was far enough from the fire that it didn't get
hurt as you can see in this video.. Just smells like smoke on the inside.
I'm hoping now that I can get it ready in time for Coos Bay. We shall see...

Gary, great to hear that your house and family are all safe. Lot to be said
for green space around your house. Toys we can replace, people no way.
