My 78 GMC with 403 engine started leaking oil where the distributer goes into the engine block Any ideas as to cause and cure?
Engine is original with 110,000 miles and runs beautifully. Thanks for all of the help we get on this forum.

If it were mine and I like where the distributor timing is currently set, I would do as Mike says. I would also throw a timing light on it and see exactly where the timing is now. Then after reinstalling the distributor I would set the timing to exactly the same point as it is now.
