Been looking at this mod for years and finally took the plunge. Bought
a very nice wheel off Ebay and started carving.

Making it fit my Caddy telescoping column was a bit more difficult than
a normal column.

Nice work Kelvin !

I can certainly appreciate it... I also installed a low spoke steering wheel and complicated the matter by incorporating a quick release steering wheel kit.

Removing the wheel makes it real nice while camped - the drivers seat turns around nicely. It did raise the wheel an inch or so though... had to get used to the new position.
