SOLD (7/30/2016)
Well, my GMC adventure is not to be. It is just not going to work for us so I'll likely go back to a big rig. Anyhow, I posted just now in the GMC Swap Meet section. Some of you are familiar with this rig. It belonged to Steve Ferguson for ten years or so. I posted earlier about the brakes. Since then I installed a new master cylinder, vacuum booster and bracket. Works fine now.
When I brought it home I immediately purchased one of those great Atwood roof A/Cs and ceiling units just in case. Also bought a nice 6" memory foam mattress from Amazon, front curtain kit from Guske, installed a new ceramic toilet (old one was leaking down) and ordered a screen door trim kit from R. Burkitt. Also bought new front tires from Discount. The A/C and ceiling unit and screen door kit are available at extra cost. I'll install the front curtain and include it.
I want to get what I paid for it six weeks ago - $25K.
The photos are at https://goo.gl/photos/Y5MN7GT1BBKmRHwr7 and you can email me at itinerantjor@gmail.com for a detailed document.

Buyer's remorse. We are used to big rigs (Foretravel pushers). We changed houses and I couldn't get our rig up to the new place so I sold it. Wasn't really planning on getting another but I've always admired the GMCs and thought, what the heck. Might be nice to have something small -easy to park, fuel up and so on. After I got it home I started my usual with a new rig. Clean it up and make some improvements. I intended to drive it to Oregon to visit one of the kids. I just started lookin' at it and have decided it is just too small for us. I like the big shower and large waste tanks on the big rigs. We like to dry camp a lot and are used to being able to go 10 days or more with no generator and all the comforts Also, I really like the big diesel's ability to flatten out those mountain passes. Anyhow, I should have considered all of this before letting my GMC lust get the better of me so it's gotta go.
