If someone has a junk Onan BF (4.0) (the NH (6.0) is not the same) and that one has the flat cap with a oil stick attached. I would be interested to buy just the fill tube and cap. It looks like it is just a push fit into the oil base (as the part is call in the parts list) and it has a separate part number. The only number I have is for the type like I have that depends on a push in rubber stopper on the stick. That rubber part has gone bad and it is clearly not a replaceable part.
If someone knows how it comes out, I should like to hear. I can only guess and that could be expensive. I do have a functional spare BF that I could pull it from, but I am not sure how to get the fill tube out without damage. If I damage the one that I have, I won't much care.
I first patched this with a piece of large heat shrink over the stopper, but that failed. Now I have a ball of teflon tape on there and I am hoping to do something more permanent and worrisome.

Sorry for the problem Matt
and this doesn't apply here,
but just for grins... to rephrase the Baldo comic this morning;
a guy is in the parts house looking for a new dip stick because
" his doesn't reach the oil ".
