Good morning,

anyone know of a replacement faucet with a single handle AND diverter
for the original (wet) side bath?

I need a replacement faucet as mine is leaking, and would love a single
handle one.

If no one knows of a single handle with diverter faucet, would

http://www.dyersonline.com/phoenix-white-two-handled-lavatory-shower-diverter-faucet.html

be the right choice for a direct drop-in replacement?

The original faucet is no longer available. A couple of years ago Kerry Pinkerton came up with a simple rebuild process for the OEM one. Mine leaked for years and Kerry's o-ring fix took care of the problem.

I would sign on to the forum and search for "faucet" under Kerry's name. It was at least 3 years ago.

Thanks Ken.

The diverting itself is working nicely, it is the fact, that the faucet
itself is leaking. But I guess replacing the O-rings helps there as well.

You said, that the original is no longer available. I do not care about
original, as long as it fits the old holes and pipes. Would the linked
faucet work?

The hot and cold faucet stems have been available. It's the diverted assembly that can't be purchased. Ace hardware had the faucets. I'll check my files to see if I can find the part numbers.

Which part is leaking, Peer? Hot, cold, or the diverter?

Ron,

I haven't determined what is leaking. I do know that it leaks a bit,
when I shower (very little), and it leaks the whole day, even if turned
off. Tuesday next week I'll be with the coach again, and will look in
more detail.

If your diverter is working then it must be one of the faucet stems and their seals.
I found my notes on this and find that the Ace Hardware part number is 1E!C for the cold side and !E!H for the hot side.
I checked on the Ace Hardwre Internet site and it shows that they still carry those parts.
The description says it is for the Indiana Brass faucets. If you should need me to purchase them and forward them to you let me know.

The faucets in the GMC Motorhome were made by Indiana Brass.
Indiana Brass started business in 1911 in Elkhart, IN. They went
Chapter 11 in 1986. They emerged as another company INBRACO as sub.
of US Tap, Inc. In 1996 US Tap dissolved selling its assets to Neo
Corp which started up a new company again called Indiana Brass
Incorporated.

About 12 years ago I traced this info for another GMCer who
needed a faucet.

Apparently they stopped making the GMC faucet back in the early 80's.
I don't know of any similar replacement from any other company.

Back about 2004 I found a plastic faucet replacement for our GMC’s and passed that information on to Jim Bounds.
Jim sold them but I believe the company making them discontinued them or went out of business.

I once contacted several faucet companies to see if any of them made a brass replacement with the diverter shower connection on the bottom. But they all said that the volume of the market would be too small for them to tool up to make it.

If there is interest here I will again check to see if there are any companies that will make a metal or plastic version available to us.

You are going to need to give Peer more info than that. I searched the Ace Hardware site for "valve", "faucet", "stem", "seal", "Indiana Brass", "1E1C" and "1E1H" and got zero results for each, and for many combinations of those. Unless Peer gets luckier than I did, you need to provide the URLs that depicted the parts. The Ace Hardware server can't find them with any of the above.

Never mind. You left off the dash in each of those. The parts are 1E-1C and 1E-1H.

Does this have a diverter and a connection for the shower hose below the deck of the sink?
