I'm going to clean up the grounds and battery hot connections. What is everybody using for an anti-oxidant coating? How about the Craig Deoxit spray. I've been using Corrosion X but I was thinking there might be some better stuff out there. Thanks.

Sometimes a simple grease seem to do, but I'm sure these specialty
chemicals will do better.

If you are really frugal, arm and hammer baking soda mixed with enough
water to make a paste. Apply it with a disposable paint brush, let it sit
for a minute or two and rinse with cool water. Cheap and works very well.

I swear by the D5 but it evaporates as far as "staying power" you may want to try dielecttic grease after cleaning and flushing with D5

I have been recommending anti-oxidation grease from Home Depot, Menards, Lowes, or your favorite hardware store. It is under $5.00 and one tube will last you a lifetime. It is found in the electrical department of the above stores and is made my several different manufacturers. It's intended use is to prevent oxidation on Aluminum wire connections but works just as good on copper or steel.
