I can get Cooper HP3 at Farm and Fleet with buy 3 and 4th is free and next 3 each at 25% off. Any one had these a while looking for a review in GMC duty. I would be retiring LTX M/S and tread looks about same or just slightly more agressive. Tire guy said sidewall is slighly stiffer which I think is good in winds and truck wash but may be worse on ruts. Thanks.

Check and see if the tire is an all steel tire or one with poly sidewall. If they are an all steel tire I would NOT put them on the front, your ride with be less than satisfactory and you may not be happy in the long run. This is not the first time you are trying the experience, it has been found by many GMC owners over the years that polysidewalls tires on the front will smooth out your ride greatly, but you can do what you want. I have not run an all steel tire since 1999 when I switch to polysidewalls tires. A night/day difference in driving over the last 80K miles. I am sure other with make the same comments.

No I was joking about XPS ribs with the tire guy. But I will review the construction. He feels these are a better more modern design compared to the Commercial TA BFG and a better price. So far Cooper has been good and these are USA. The Michelin are going to Defender LTX instead of LTX M/S II but way more expensive.

Yes. I had heathen chi-com deltas on the front. Ate them up in 30k. Just trying something different. All tolled should put about 7000 ms on the coach this season.

I have been running Cooper HT-3 tires on the four rears for about a year now and have put about 6,000 miles on them. No problems to report, and they run nice and smooth.

Thank for the comments. They have done a printout with a price of $119.99 each. I THINK that is with the 4 th free figured in. But I think there is some other rebate $50?? For each 3 purchased so that would be another $100 off total or another $14 off each. I have to call the mgr to be sure. I plan to pull 2 at a time and take them over to get mounted. Not going to try to explain jacking procedures etc. Purchase must be charged by Wed.

How very wise you are!
First they wouldn't understand and second they wouldn't listen and third
they know better than you!! ... I have always taken in 2 at a time since
the first time I saw my rear boggies hanging from the shocks with a jack
between the two wheels.
FWIW...I only run steel walled tires on all locations.
