Hi guys,

Interior work continues, I remember someone mentioning a two piece plastic molding to mate the ceiling panels together instead of the factory metal ones. (I'm missing a few of the factory ones).

I remember I think, that the company is called Nudo?

I thought I saved the link but I cant for the life of me find it even using the search function?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Steve

I used V 47 which is a two piece cap and retainer. Very very happy with it. Put a few rivets in the retainer on either side to the existing aluminum. Then put FRP over the edges of the retainer and a few more rivets to hold the panel edge and the retainer. Push in the cap when your done. Nice solid click to lock it in, and be sure you have it where you want it. Its not going anywhere after that.

Late to the conversation but I am looking into these and had a couple of questions.

I assume they are easy enough to cut to size?

If someone didn't have the ability to rivet them in what would you recommend? Screws?

Did the curve of the roof give you any problems in using them? (I will only have upper cabs on one side so these would have to bend all the way down towards the wall.)

Thanks!

This is great info but I am also looking for the side mouldings that runs along the top of the walls. The PO remove them to do Renos and are missing.

Thx

I can't find the post discussing this but, some have used covers for pvc electrical chases. (available @ Home Depot etc) I don't know what the size they are so you will have to measure your chase but, they should snap right on.

They are on my list to replace but lots to do before those.
