Hi, I have refitted my tanks back into our 1973 Painted Desert and I find I have one inlet/outlet that I can not work out where it goes to as I seem to have accounted for all the hoses.
The Inlet/outlet approx 3/8 pipe is directly to the rear of the filler hose at the same level it is shown in the maintenance manual X-7525B page 8.5 and is fig.3 type 1 fuel tanks but there is no description of that pipes purpose. It is below the onan fuel line.
We also have a 1974 Glenbrook which I thought I would have a look at that and I would be okay but that coach does not have this inlet/outlet. All help would be appreciated.

Matt,
Thanks for your comments. I took photos of all the hoses on removal of the tanks and maybe this one escaped me because it did not have a hose going to it. IIt would have been hard to see from underneath and I have only spotted it now that I have no hoses free to establish to it. Your recommendation would be to cap it the same as I have done for the Onan outlet on the top, I have discarded the Onan ?

Peter,
I just had the tanks out in my 74, had the same nipple, had a short hose with bolt and clamp as Matt said. I looked at every diagram I could find to no avail, shrugged and put on a new hose with bolt and clamp.
