In the process of working on the instrument panel and figuring out wiring, I found this rather large round connector that doesn't seem to go to anything.
The wires are orange and black, and it's clearly part of the oem harness. Since it's behind the radio I'll guess it had something to do with that, but I can't find it in the wiring diagram.

ahhh, thanks! That's the problem with doing this over a period of days... you forget what
goes to what. I'm sure I thought it was really obvious when I pulled it off the back of the lighter socket...

To make sure it's the cig liter, ohm it to the fuse, or with voltmeter check for power then remove the cig fuse
and power should go off.
I use tape and marker to keep track. Schematic to make sure, and a multimeter to verify.

Your sig line could stand a little more coach model info.
