With my new radiator install complete and working great on its inaugural shake down cruise yesterday, I had the whizz-bang idea of routing the exit line of my external transmission cooler into the input side of the radiator, then touting it back thru the return line to the transmission. PO had cut both metal lines and used rubber to route to the external cooler. I figured an original hard line would make for a cleaner install and also be a benefit for grounding properly grounding the radiator.

Thought someone may have one laying around as shipping would be impossible on these. Just let me know.

Getting excited for the first rally!

When I ruined about a foot of cooler line on my small coach, I replaced it with copper tubing of the same diameter using a ferrule splice. Works fine.

If there is any chance of vibrating then copper is not a good choice. With flexing it will crack and spray transmission fluid back onto the engine just a rubber hose will.
A better choice would be steel line. I used 3/8” steel brake line many years back and it still is working fine.

I think Emery is right... 3/8 standard brake line. when pulled mine aside to remove the fan shrowd, that is all they were. Can maybe buy a length, or buy bulk line and have the ends flared so you have an exact fit.

The movement is taken elsewhere than at the radiator end of the lines - both are clipped to the shroud. I wouldn't suspend a splice on the line, it has to be supported.
