Does the top back lip of the rear gas tank sit on top of the cross member?

I had to take a look at my pics from when i did that job, and it looks like it does go on top of the cross member:

Thanks to all. The lip fits under the crossmember as suggested. The bolts give a snug fit.
Hopefully there is not a next time, but if so I will raise the coach more in order to see and work.
