The plastic J-trim molding around our door is breaking up. Does anybody have any information on how/where/name to buy this stuff. All of the edging at all (and I mean all) that big boxes will not fit over the door opening edge. I thing we have tried all the carpet and craft stores too. I can't even buy it from McMaster-Carr and that causes me to wonder if it still exists...
I would not mind buying it from JimK, but the shipping would be a killer.
Thanks
Matt

Matt, Im pretty sure I used V-1 to do around the door. There are a bunch of other Vinyl trims as well to look over. Im pretty sure I waited for a warm day and with a rubber mallet it slipped over once it was started. I used the V47 trim on all the seams of the ceiling in my coach.
I had to go through a local builders supply to have them order it for me, and it was truck shipped in an 8 foot box. Its light so the shipping wasnt too bad.

Warren,
That sure looks like it to me.
Monday I will call and find out where a local seller is so I can order the little bit I need.
Thanks
Matt
Menards stocks V1 in white and a couple of others. V1 is labeled for FRP. Lowes has the same stuff in white for thicker panels.

I was looking at my molding and it looks to me like it is an offset molding to allow for the screen door.
Don't believe the V1 type straight molding will work.
I only have one side that is bad.
Will hold off for now.
Thanks
