Hello,

Today on our wonderfull Canada/USA-trip we were driving from Kamloops to Cache Creek (Canada, BC) as we got our first GMC Silvercoloured encounter Smile It was around 10 am o'clock local time.
It had a kanu strapped on the roof and was rolling at a nice speed against the hill ...

We are currently in Whistler, at the Riverside RV Park, in our rental RV, with good Wifi; planning on visiting Whister and surroundings tommorow.
Then going to Vancouver.

Just currious who it was ...
Hope to see more of you arround ... Smile

Bye, Daniel

Hello Harry,

Our plans are only for Vancouver, then direction of Seattle.
Arriving in Vancouver tomorrow afternoon, planning to go to Burnaby Cariboo RV Park.
But nothing fix booked yet.
Then staying in Vancouver for at least sunday and monday, perhaps even a day longer.

Whale watching is on our wishlist, FlyOver Canada should be interesting, Capilana Suspension Bridge and Stanley Park ....

Daniel

Hello Ken,

I feel lucky, meeting so many nice people, here on the forum and during our trip!

We are still at the town of Whistler, at the campgroup.
Depending the weather, or better said, the visibility we planning a "gondola peak2peak"
But as they informed us at the visitor center, yesterday, that peak2peak, was closed .... bad weather conditions ..... Perhaps today, otherwise we continouing our journey.

On the way to Vancouver we hope to see some more nice things, perhaps even some whales, as we pass the shoreline ?!

Daniel

If you have time, go to the IMAX theatre in downtown Vancouver.
Watch a 3D movie.
Park outside of the city and take the SkyTrain in.
Avoid Surrey.
Crime capitol of BC.

Hi Harry,

We are currently at Burnaby Cariboo RV Park.
Visited the Capilano Suspention Bridge today.
It was crowded but still nice to expirience.

We got our Skytrain daytickets for tomorrow, going downtown.
Taking the Millenium Line to station: Waterfront.

Thanks for the warning, we will avoid the Surrey-Area.
And I certainly look for the IMAX Theatre.

Tuesday we plan whale watching.

Daniel

When you go to the Skytrain, try to get on the first car or the last. Go to the end window.
Great view out the windows from there. Note: there is no driver.
Lots to see in downtown Vancouver. Gastown, Chinatown, Science Centre, etc.

Hi,

Today, on our trip back to Calgary, met a very Nice Canadian GMC owner in Banff, Tunnel Mountain Village Campground. Jerry and his wife from Calgary were so kind to show me their 26 Foot GMC. It was nicely refurbished and repainted. Still rolling on 16.5" wheels.
