Need to get 6 new tires. My BFG T/A’s have timed out but still have about 1/3 tread wear left. I’m getting mixed signals on load range designations. I’m opting to go again with load range E tires but I am seeing some tires with a numerical designation like 105 and 128. Is that perhaps a European load range designation?
thanks

Gary, I'm extremely pleased with my Firestone Transforce Load range E. They
have the steel tread and the poly side walls.

My opinion is that it is best to stick with a tire with an "LT" in front of the size for a motorhome. I was advised by my tire dealer friend that the light truck designation signifies stronger construction than the other load designations. You may not have any trouble with a non=LT tire IF it is rated to carry the load, but it might be negatively affected by heat and wear factors.
