redoing the interior wall and the hinge side door frame weld is completely broken. The door seems pretty solid. Should I go through the headache of getting it welded?
I can't weld aluminum so I'd have to take it somewhere

Keith,
I have the same issue and know precisely how it happened. When I picked up the coach from Tom Hampton in Ohio so long ago, we drove her out to California in a few very long pulls. Once home I wanted to visit the local stereo shop to see about installing a radio in the dash. As I was navigating traffic in the parking lot I got too close to sorriest looking mid-’80’s Cutlas when the lower hinge caught the front fender at the door and peeled it up like you might imagine opening a can-o-tomatoes…
Well, the door that had opened and closed with great precision now has a bit of a hitch to it. I’ve never fixed it even though one of my best friends has a sheet-metal shop and can weld anything. I have to get around to doing that…
Honestly I don’t know how big a job it is to remove the door.

Removing door is simple. Drive out hinge pins and it is in your hands, after you slip it out. Support the hinge with a sledge on the opposite side that you are driving out the pin. This helps absorb the shock when you drive out the pin, and to keep from bending either the hinge or the hinge attachment point in the doorframe. Two people job.
Reinstall the reverse of the removal method. I suggest on removal, remove bottom hinge pin first. On install, install top hinge pin first.
Do not seat the pins until you have both installed and the door closes properly.
