Does anyone have a factory dash sitting around? I need the part that goes behind the original faux-wood-plastic cover.
I am designing a replacement solid wood dash cover and my personal dash has been cut to go fully custom.
I don't need the gauges or anything, really just need to check fit against the factory metal support behind the stock cover.

I should pay more attention... I thought you were rebuilding the back part of the dash, and trying to make the front fit. I got it backwards.
there was a coach purchased and will be parted down in Omaha just last week. info on facebook. Dash may smell like cat urine.

Justin,
I'm confused: do you want the faux wood plastic overlay, the metal base
behind it (along with the attached "doughnut"), or just that metal plate?
I may have which ever of those you need. I've forgotten where you're
located. l could take it to Bean Station tomorrow if that will get it
closer to you.
May I suggest that it might be easier logistically to print your template
and let me, or someone check the fit for you.

Ken,
The metal piece attached to the doughnut is what I need.
I'm in middle TN but not close to beans station and I won't be able to make it out there unfortunately.
If you'd ship it let me know. I'd cover cost of course.
If it's something youd like to keep I'd be happy to send it back when I'm finished.
As for having someone else check, that would be fine (and was my initial plan) if modifications need to be made it's much easier to do them when I have the parts in hand.

Justin,
I found the doughnut w/metal base plate. On this one, those are integral:
The metal is formed somehow to be the former for the doughnut; they're
basically inseparable.
I can ship it, but not for a week. I haven't time this afternoon and we'll
leave crack'o'dawn tomorrow for BS. Be aware that it's bulky and heavy;
you may not like the shipping charge.
Let me know.
