May sound like a silly question but I'm wondering about the different finishes available on the Ragusa steps. I was wondering how people felt about each type and if they would have a recommendation. The extra few bucks for the polished step isn't an issue but if it tends to be more slippery would be a consideration.
Thanks for any input.

Hal I have an older non polished Ragusa Step. I like it just fine and it is not slippery at all when wet. provided you are not in flip flops or "Crocs". I have a piece of anti skid "sand paper" which covers the very bottom of the door edge, and then when you get to the floor I have a piece of aluminum flooring corner trim which also has grooves at the top for traction. The aluminum corner trim covers the edge of the pergo floor nicely and gives a more finished look. It all works well.

I can not remember if mine was shiny or not. I hit something and had to weld it. After that I sand or bead blasted it and it now has had a rough finish for many years. I like it that way.
My personal thinking is I would not go with a polished one.
