Replaced the front engine mount yesterday. Fairly straight forward, followed the manual. I constructed an engine hoist to support the engine, worked perfectly (cost less then $10 in materials). One important detail I think the manual should have mentioned or cautioned is that you should remove the fasteners attaching the fan shroud to the radiator support. Failure to do so could lead to the shroud being damaged. There is some flexibility being that there is a bellows connecting the venturi ring to the shroud but I did not want to risk damaging the shroud so I removed the fasteners to be on the safe side.

One of the mounting studs for the engine mount was pulled out of the mount threads about a 5/16" making removal more difficult. I hoisted the engine has high as it would go which you need to be careful doing so as the venturi ring will contact the underside of the cockpit floor. See pictures below:

That's a slick looking engine hoist.
Thanks for the comments about loosening the collar - good tip to file away for those is us with the original set up.
