So my fuel tanks should be coming back this week, and I've been searching for fuel hose amounts.
I have a roll of 3/8, but how much 1/4 and 1/2 do I need?
I dunno, maybe I'm just not using the right search term, but I'm sure I've seen it here before.

Thanks!!

Christopher

Christopher,
Go to the following auto part sites:
autozone.com
They have the Dayco/Fuel injection hose which is rated as SAE J30R9
napaonline.com
Theirs looks like a Gates barrier fuel
http://www.napaonline.com/napa/en/p/NBGH323/NBGH323
O’Reilly Auto Parts
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/home.oap
Or any of the other big box stores in your area.

All you have to do on any of these site is do a search for “fuel line hose” and as you're looking at the various items available select only a barrier style hose. Go to your home town autoparts stores with the same information. Bottom line is that you want to use as a minimum a SAE J30R7 rated hose, but I recommend the SAE J30R9 rated hose as it will last several years longer than the other rated hose. Don’t buy cheap hose, it is not in your interest and it will fail in a short time. I buy by the roll and you're going to spend from $1.40 to $1.60 or more per foot. I bought about 10 foot of 1/4 inch, roll of 5/16 inch, roll of 3/8 inch (roll equals 25 foot) and 3 feet of 1’2 inch for the fuel line vents to he filler nozzle. Also use only ALL SS hose clamps and I buy mine at Lowes or Home depot by the bag of 10 or 25.

Gene,
I am in the process of putting together a photo album on how I did our tank system a couple of years ago.
