Hi Scott,

Not offensive, just out of date for the next generation of GMC owners coming along from my POV. I don’t think our kids and grand kids find cute the same names we did/do. Ours is one of the few special interest vehicle groups that is undergoing a successful generational change in ownership and I just think we all would be well served to honor that and change what we need to change to match. It is not a big deal, but in marketing anything sometimes it is the little things that count.

Thanks for the kind words! Cheers,

Jerry

Jerry,
lm a little surprised at your response. The black list is non judgemental of anyone, just in recognition of the person who had the idea of putting it
together.
i love the info that you have for our community. And no matter what, I will always consider you one of our more respected members. But please, tell me
why the phrase "Black List" is so offensive. Just a observation, Respectfully, Scott Nutter

I agree. In fact, anyone with even a mediocre curiosity would probably look up GMC “Blacklist” just to see what it was.
The strange to some name might in fact be a drawing card.
As others have said it is far more important to get people to get their names on the list rather than worry about changing the name.

Like it or not, "blacklist" has a deserved negative connotation.

Perception becomes reality.
