Most of the antennas on the top of my coach use NMO 3/4” mounts.
I’ve had them in holes on my cars and trucks for years, and never a leak.
Make certain the mating surface is clean, and they just work - which is why you see them on most emergency vehicles.
They do a decent job from DC to light (only kidding, good to about 1000 mHz).
Since everyone knows Amateur Radio operators are never an opinionated group, here’s a link.
Through-hole NMO mount: 3/4 or 3/8?
Finally, it’s CB. So I bought something stainless and from a reputable brand. Buying the latest and greatest super whiz bang antenna design probably won’t perform noticeably better when talking to people who are over modulated and sound like they have a mouth full of feces.
I meant Big Mac's. OK, I’ll quit while I’m ahead.
Just my take on this…..
