Got the ABS plastic panels installed around the rear window. Found some nice white aluminum square headed screws for that job. Devils in the details. That trim will not be seen when completed. But it's a great way to support the insulation. I ended up with the foil covered bubble wrap. Good R value. And simple to glue in. The foam just got too complicated. And had a lower R value. Next came the installation of two of the real walnut paneling sections. Anyone interested in photo's. Let me know.. Like to work on the cedar lined closet tomorrow. Nice smalling job. The foil bubble wrap I'm installing isn't meant to be the only insulation. It's to increase the R value of what you have. Some are under 1/4 inch. This one is 5/16th. By itself. It's rated at R-3 with no dead air space next to it. It must be sealed at the edges. By sealing the edges. You make two dead air spaces. I just looked at the foil covered foam insulation in my fridge enclosure. It's rated at R-2.7 per 1/2 inch. As Jeremy said last night when he stopped by. And since he's in the business of installing all types of insulation. It's selecting a product that fits the application. Then install it to make the best use of what it's designed for. That's why there are so many types of insulation made. At our warehouse units. Years ago I put it on all my !2 X12 ft overhead doors. Helped a lot. As for installing it on curved surfaces.
