hello all,

I have another question. Smile

How is the carburetor heater pipe connected to the manifold? I see it is connected to the carb with a compression fitting/nut but on mine, it doesn't seem to have any connection to the manifold. Does it just connection with a friction fit? Is it rusted out and that's why it is not connected?

Can I just re attach it with JB weld?

Here are some pics.

thanks

Todd

The choke heat tubes are a press fit.
See here -- in place --

And here -- removed --

You can search choke tube on the photo site for other info including replacements.

No, epoxy will burn from the heat.
Go to our sight and see what you need and see that the ends are reduced
down to slide in and the other end is secured so it will not pull out.
