I am renovating my coach and have installed Levilor blinds on all windows (external mount rather than inside frame) and they will be framed in with maple surround to keep them fairly tight to the body. I am in a quandary on what to do with the entrance door. If I install an external mount the maple frame will stop me from using my Birch screen door. I would appreciate any suggestions from the group along with photos on the options available.

Alan
Kelvin used a corrugated plastic insert for privacy. I have seen others use the original style door curtains.
Let us know what you settle on.

I glued small pieces of velcro at 8 spots around the window frame and have a piece of fabric with corresponding velcro on it that I place over the window at night. Real easy to install and remove. Doesn't interfere with my Birch screen door at all.

Some have installed a Mini Venetian blind and set it inside the indent of
the glass and a very shallow thin material as a valence to keep the blind
from flopping.

Margaret Guske (810-987-5788) has a shade specifically for the door window that does not interfere with the Birch screen door and
looks very nice.

Here are the pictures I posted last year on the Guske small blinds for the door. They work very well for the Alex B screen door too!

I took the PO installed mini blinds off the inside surface of the door and stuck the top track to the door window with double stick mounting tape. I had to relocate the strings at the bottom too, but the blinds ended up fitting inside the window opening nicely and do not interfere with the Ragusa Screen door at all. Sorry, no pics.
