I just pulled 4 tanks out of 2 GMC' Coachmen Royale's. And on all 4 tanks. The place where the drains come out of the tanks is where the tanks are broken. So why at that point. Unless you drag the back over tree stumps. Then it dawned on me. The tanks are bolted to the body. The drains are attached to the frames. And there's movement between the two. So does this also apply to the GM completed coaches? So this means more money down the DRAIN. ( GRIN)Bob Dunahugh

Bob, it's the nature of the Coachman beast. Replacement tanks are not
flange mounted. They mount like the fuel tanks do. They also use rubber
grommets and rigid pvc pipe tightly slid into them. Much better setup all
around. Do not glue rigid flange fittings to the tanks. They will crack
just like the original ones did. Jwid.

Bob,

My coach tank and drain pipe are all mounted to the body floor, with plenty of frame clearances.
So far so good. No leaks.
