I've see listings of floorplans on the net, but nothing the links a
floorplan to a model. Does that exist?

Specifically what I was wondering is which model(s) had the dry bath? As a
newbie, its hard for me to distinguish one model from the next. Are the
differences paint schemes? Floorplans? Or is there a secret handshake that
I haven't learned yet?

Go to GMCMI.com . GMC Motorhomes International club site. Click on the second tab at the top (The GMC Motorhome). Then click on Technical Information.
You will find a lot of information on models and floor plans there.

You might consider including your location on your signature line as it might result in a local owner contacting you.

Royale, birchaven, avion. All had dry baths. On the GM models, as I understand it, the floor plans were independent of the model.

76 Birchaven - "Wicked Mistress" - New engine, trans, alum radiator, brakes, Sully airbags, fuel lines, seats, adult beverage center... those Coachmen guys were really thinking about us second hand owners by including that beverage center... Columbia, SC.

Apparently, any GMC produced model could be special ordered with any floor plan. I owned a 77 Kingsley with the Edgemont rear twin dry bath floor plan. I'm aware of one other Kingsley and two Eleganza II's that have the same layout.

The Transmodes were a whole nother animal.
