On 4k watt Onan there are two ignition wires at the top back of the generator, one on the right and one on the left. One seems to be missing and one is disconnected on one end. What are the proper connections? Thanks.

They both fire at the same time on every rotation, so it doesn't matter.

Are you taking about plug wires or 12V wires? Plug wires can go eitherway as it was mentioned it is waste spark type. Voltage goes from one coil tower through plug wire to the center electrode of one plug, jumps gap to outer electrode to block, conducts through block to outer electrode of other plug, jumps to center electrode, through plug wire to other coil tower.
