Is there a way of pulling out the Onan tray further or some other way in order to access the circuit board? '73 23' Canyonlands 230 in Southern California. Thanks.

The tray should pull out far enough to easily a access the board. But, it may be very stiff generally do to lack of lub and usage. Try pulling hard.

To add, just because I forgot. If the starter bracket is broken, a common problem, the starter will drop down and hang on the frame. Reach under to the Onan starter and see if you can push the body of the starter up and or down. If it moves, the bracket is broken. JmK has Ragusa starter bracket that will permanently fix that problem. Shiny marks on the GMC frame, under the Onan, is another sure indicator that the bracket is broken.
