Wondering if anyone would have the part number for the aluminum radiator cap. I'm looking for a 16lb cap and 'think' it needs a 7016 but haven't been able to confirm it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,Hal

16# cap ACDelco part# 12R9S lever release is what Bob Drews listed when he put the aluminum radiator in his coach in 2007.

My alu radiator came with a 7 pound cap. Is it safe to use these with higher compression?

My came with info that you could use a 16lb cap. I ran that with no problems until my fan clutch failure, so now I basically have a scrap piece of aluminum. My heater core had no problem with the higher pressure.

If the engine does not get hot the pressure will be the same. The higher pressure rate allows the engine to get hotter without boiling the coolant. Right ?
