Hi Terry,
No, you don’t need it but it certainly simplifies the installation. If you don’t use it you have to eliminate your existing low pressure pump(s) and lines and put in a high pressure pump and filter below the bottom of the tanks, close to the tanks, and run a return line back to the tanks as I understand it. With the Fuel Command Center you just mount that anywhere you wish and feed it from your existing mechanical and/or electric low pressure pump. One line goes from the Command Center to the throttle body and a vapor vent line goes to the charcoal canister, the run vent line, the fill vent line or wherever you want to vent fumes from the Command Center to go……. One harness wire goes to + on the command center and a - line goes to ground. Much easier and you can install it so you can quickly convert back to a carb if you ever need/want to.

Jerry, Do you really need the Fuel Command Center? I THOUGHT I read that if you did a fuel return, you did not need it.
