Robert warned me about this!

The anti rattle wirespring for the caliber with ebrake is not obtaiable in Europe
I can by the from several sources in the us, but it will take a vey long time to send and will cost around 40 dollars in postal charges plus 40% taxes also over the postalcharge.

Now if anybody could pick thes up at their local shop and send them as a normal letter to Portugal, then I could have them befor Xmas
I can send money by paypal

It is 2 piece of either

APPIE

Iam willing to do that for you. Check to see the Canadian Dollar Exchange becomes a benifit for you. It is only .73 cents to US Dollar. (Killer for us but to you may be good)

APPIE AND JOHN

PLEASE NOTE. THE ITEMS YOU TWO ARE REFERENCING ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

I believe the item that Appie wants is a set of round springs formed out of stiff circular wire.

The item you show at o'reilies is a set of flat springs.

Rockauto has Raybestos H5459 For $10.49 (plus $3.09 shipping to Indiana using first class mail)

Please verify that you two are talking about the same item before buying and shipping them.

I've been using the part number only in all my requests and each time they've turned up the flat spring type of anti-rattle spring.
It looks like this.

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/discussion-photos/p59727-h5459-anti-rattle-springs.html

You can see the part number is the same. HMMMM

The OReilies picture that Jon identified lead me to believe that I have the right part too. (I did not know any different as to what Appie is really after.

As you can see I have already purchased the part because it appeared such was not easy to obtain. And if I had used an application search I would have been more successful. (Maybe)

No problem. Just let me know if this is the wrong part. Ill return it and we will save the mailing cost. Makes me wonder why it seems to be such a hard part to find around here.

Thanks for highlighting a possible problem Ken !!

Yes John wonder why this part is so obscure. Flat clips come with the pads but not the wire clip
Guess that is why they are missing in the firsth place

Appie, I'm flying to UK this Saturday. If you like I'll have a look locally to see if they have that part and
I could handcarry a set back to UK and post from there.....all mail is lousy this time of year (some sort of Solstice festival or something Smile
and mail should be faster from UK and no worries about import duties etc.

I'll order a set, dont worry about cost....you can buy me dinner if we are ever in the same Country, with prices in Europe
I'll likely get the best of that deal Smile

PM me with your full address in Portugal
