Jim,
That is very considerate of you to support the people that make these
sights available for us.
Like everything, there is no such thing as FREE Lunch.
Several years ago Steve Ferguson(sp) and Nancy helped me do a raffle . I
put up a Final Drive unit and the community kicked in around $ 3,000.
Steve and Nancy did all the hard work along with Billy Massy to promote it.
After the sudden death of Ken Toma, Joyce Murdock of the Classics contacted
me to see if I could donate something to help the club to purchase a Heart
Fibulator. I donate a final drive Kit and they had an raffle and came up
with $ 2,000 and were able to have one to take to their rallies.
Those of you who do not know me well know that I can toot my horn, as I do
my part to support the community.
Most at International know I was donating bi yearly over 1.200 worth of
merchandise for raffle for several years and I was the one that funded the
Pine Box Derby aluminum track for them.
I tapered off the prizes to them in the last year and a half due to
conflicts.
I have been serving on the beard for few terms as no one else is willing to
serve.
So for those that are unaware, there you go.
