While i've been removing the subflooring alot that is just rotted out by mistake cut right though a brake line hidden between the frame rails and flooring between the rear wheels, in my 74 i noticed some of the panels are bolted to the frame, if i remove those will the body be loose on the frame ? is there other things securing the body to the frame ? also did it change on later years ?

Thanks David

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car, understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Hp is how fast you hit the wall, and torque is how far you take the wall with you when you hit it.

David:

You can remove the two brackets without worrying about it.

You’ll need to put them back in, and I recommend that you use the piece you removed as a template.

Now is probably a good time to go to a stainless line set.
