I'm thinking of replacing the steering column on the GMC and was wondering if someone would have the dimensions of our columns. I can only get an approx. length with it in the coach and was hoping someone would have one out and might supply the dimensions. I'm looking for overall length of the column as well as the length of the body from bottom of steering wheel to the lower column body-less the shaft protrusion. Thanks for any help.
Hal

Lots of good information there Gene thanks. As everything from the steering box up is new aftermarket and I did a 2.5" body raise I'm looking to replace the whole column with a newer unit. I'm looking at the one I pulled from the donor 1993 Chevy truck as a possible replacement. It would put the controls on the stalk for the wipers and dimmer which would be nice. Anyway, that's why I'm looking for the dimensions.
Thanks for the link, Hal
