Dolph,
Adhesive is probably not your first choice when fastening the new flooring down. I would suggest cleaning the aluminum frame with a wire brush to clean any old adhesive off and clean with a solvent such as denatured alcohol. You can use the Denatured Alcohol to clean up excess silicone before it sets. You need to use a mechanical fastener such as a rivet with a fender washer to set the piece into a bed of silicone to the aluminum frame, use the silicone to fill any of the seams that you may have. Let it set 24 hours and it should be good to go!

Structural, yet flexible.

Dolphins, size your sheets with a gap around the perimeter or your floor
might squeak when walked on. I had one piece that fit "perfectly" while the
others had small gaps around the perimeter. The "perfect fitting " one will
squeak when I step in one spot. Drives me a bit nuts.

I was able to find the same style self tapping screws as I removed from
Tacoma Screw. The orig was self drilling and tapping but if you have one
drill set up to do pilot holes and another to drive the screws it goes real
fast.

Thanks for the input.
The biggest hassle was finding some ply that was genuinely 3/4”
Marine Plywood was exactly 3/4 and worked well.
I was surprised to learn that the body is held on via the plywood. I didn’t expect that.
