I am asking for any design specs for a similar fold down dinette table as shown on kijiji gta. Search under GMC motorhomes for sale. A 1976 Eleganza shows a talbe allowing the use of individual movable chairs.
Looks interesting. Does anyone have a site that would give up construction specs.

Sir

This is a GMC site that has hundreds of users from around the world. To
say.."...as shown on kijiji gta" gives little or no information and it is
only because I am Canadian that I know whatinhell gta means...ie. Greater
Toronto Area.
I'm guessing this is what you are referring to:
http://www.kijiji.ca/v-rv-motorhome/city-of-toronto/1976-gmc-eleganza-ii-motorhome/1066040855?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

If you would be so kind as to include in your 'signature' your location
and the year and model of your coach, it does a lot to simplify life in
general for those of us on the email system.

Now to your question...I don't know if the chairs are hand built although
I'm guess in not, so I'd suggest an office supply store. For the
table...maybe some RV supply retailers either on line or in person where
you live.

Someone else will likely chime in.....

Don't know if current, but there is contact info for JR on Bdub's site:
http://www.bdub.net/slaton/

And there are examples of similar tables, but no dimensions, on the photo site if you search "fold down table".

Kelvin Deitz in Eugene Oregon made a suspension table that folds into the
space near the front of his 23 foot entry door. A really slick install. I
believe that he posted pics on the photo site. I might be wrong about the
pics. but he is frequently on this web, so he might chime in here.

Thanks for the classless reply Kingsley Coach, I am ashamed that you identified yourself as Canadian. I hope others out there know that WE are not all the same, sarcastic and non helpful as yourself.

Anyone could have entered (kijiji gta gmc motorhome) and saw the coach for sale and the dinette I was interested in...you don't have to be Canadian to have a brain.

Many thanks to ALL the great replies from other members, it is appreciated

Kingsley Coach, even though you are a senior member, I will show you some respect when we go to NS (Nova Scotia) a second time this spring. I just will avoid you. Please do me a favour and never respond to my posts. Oh yes I am not on the black list, but am always available to help even you if you are in my area.(phonebook/internet)

Joe,
Your signature line is pretty barren with no info except for your name. It is very helpful if you include other information about you, your coach model and year and where you live. This helps everyone on how they can help you with your questions or issues. Matt C has a much lengthier comments on how to set up sig line, but I won’t post it here. Please look at mine and also look at others as you read post here. This is the big one and I do have smaller sig line too.

Sorry JPR. Kingsley Coach was right, and you owe him an apology. I ignored your first request for assistance until he posted the URL for you. Next time, provide the URL.

I will put in more effort to help than the average user here, and I didn't have enough to go on until he came to your rescue.

Dear JPR,

I will try and respond to your messages in such a way so as not to offend you.

If you look at the signature at the bottom of this response I live in Sydney, Australia. I have two GMC's one here an one in the USA I keep in Humble, Texas.

I read your message and couldn't figure out what you meant by "as shown on kijiji gta."

Mike's response with the link enabled me to find what you were "talking" about.

That table is quite similar to this table:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/dinning-area/p30480-table-cabinet.html

You could use this as a starting design and find a cabinet maker in your area that could build one for you.

You do not have any contact info, please note that most emails have a signature at the bottom that provides the emailer's name, GMC year / model, and location. By including that information it helps others help you. To create a signature go to Control Panel, Account Settings, and scroll down to Preferences and create a signature.

Mike, I would suggest you just ignore the flame, this gentleman doesn't know you like "we" do.

Mike is non-helpful?? He supplied the link to the ad so others could see what you were talking about.

Personally I find your outburst far more caustic and sarcastic than Mike's post. You may want to get a thicker skin or re-read your
posts before you hit the Send or Post key.

jpatrick,

All else aside, if you continue to post with that attitude you won't be
happy here -- nor here at all for very long. You are the one who'll suffer
from missing Mike's friendship.

A sincere apology is in order.

Thank you for the response it was appreciated. Didn't know about the signature I thought is was shown as ticked "on" in the options. I shall go back and adjust as necessary.

Sorry to everyone, I thought that asking as shown in "kijiji gta etc" "GMC Motorhome" would allow anyone interested to enter that in their search window, view the table and either respond or ignore my question.

If have a question in the future I will lay it all out so there will be no mistake in what I am asking.

Attaboy. Remember we are lazy old farts, and about half of the members access via a mail server so accessing the web is additional work for them, and requiring them to do a search adds to that effort.

Thanks A Hamilton, I too am an old fart, as old as ye all. I just moved from dial up service to cell tower service so I thought I was the only one that had crappy services.
Should be retired but on what, all we have is the coach for enjoyment so I am trying just give me time.
