I'm in the process of replacing my Rostra Cruise control. I am using a pulse generator that says on it "8 pulses per revolution". So, I need to know how many revolutions per mile is the speedometer output of our transmissions, so I can calculate pulses per mile set on the dip switches. Anyone know how many revs/mile Our trans speedo output is?
Thanks.

GM standard was 1,000 revolutions per mile. I think other makers were the same.

The instructions for the speedo-cable signal generator specify using the 8000ppm settings in the cruise module.
