Ada and I got home last night after three great weeks on the road with ANNIE.
I had a 50th HS reunion coming up and one of my class mates offered her drive
way with power and water.

Started off driving Lake Mary, FL to Haymarket VA to meet up with some GMC Tidewater
Crabs at a working dairy farm that has full RV hookups. While there for a few nights,
we all were entered into an antique / classic car show in Manassas, VA. Then it was
off to Williamsburg parked in the Brennan's driveway. JimB is Santa at Yankee Candle
so when our niece and five year old twins came to the house for dinner there was Santa
waiting for them. Those eyes were as big as dinner plates.

Left Williamsburg, over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to meet up with another "Crab"
in DE. Over nighted in a restaurant parking Our crab friend knew the owner, so we also had
dinner and breakfast the next morning. Then off to a cousin's home 24 miles away. She and
her husband restore Model A(s). Spent a few days having fun and then took the Lewes Ferry
over to Cape May and then up thru NJ to four days of the reunion.

From there we headed to Roanoke, Va to visit family for a few days. (to be continued).

Next we hit the road for Cat and Chuck Boyds' home in Knoxville. Annie limped in
and after Chuck and Rick's help, we replaced a stripped adjusting bolt and nut
from the worn torsion bars. That raised the front end from 4"+ too low to 1" low.
Wipers were about to break in two, so replaced them with some of Chuck's nearly
new ones. Next the steering was sticking, so opened it up and cleaned the bearings
and regreased them. Finally, thinking all was well, we went site seeing for the day.
Upon return, Annie had pee'd oil all over the driveway. Ada wanted to get her some
Depends, but four hours later after looking running down a correct oil filter we got
Annie buttoned up and leak free. Now it was time to say good bye (I really think Annie
wanted to stay and has a crush on Chuck) and head to the mountains in GA. Ada posted the
pictures on FB and all I can say is we had the most healing time with great friends.
Life is great when you hit the road, with no real route or timeframe.

We got home last night, Annie is getting some R&R at the COOP and we will be out again
on Thursday. Life can be more than good.
