We are home The coach and scooter are covered in mud. We went up to the Minuteman II missile site in the rain and the entire road is liquid mud. The GMC Kumho KL-78 drive ties on the front end did an excellant job. We met a stuck SOB up there with dualy's on the rear. There was nothing I could do for him. He is stuck until it dries out, or the first freeze when he can get some traction again.
Anyway, the coach is totally covered underneath in that very fine gray mud.

Whew - sometimes ya win. I was thinking of going to the site but decided not to because of the cold wind and overcast. Never thought about mud. Yep got lucky that day.

Yes, there was a small sign that said "County Maintenance ends here". It was right at the missile silo turnoff / driveway. I hate to think what it what like beyond that point on the county road. The mud was like soup everywhere. I was lucky to get turned around in the missile site driveway which was gravel and in much better condition.
