Mornin Jim,
I don't have a wipe/wash or wipe delay in the kit unless Alex had something
special made up. I did send the vendor a copy of the email and maybe he can
chime in.

While we are on the subject, anyone know a DIY solution for custom labels? I'm thinking of "Engine" and "House" labels for a battery monitoring gauge switch, or a "left" and "right" for an air pressure gauge switch.

Q 1: Just pick up the phone and call him, he doesn't sit around plunking
on this infernal jukebox like most of us do. Just call him, I'm all but
sure he has them
Q 2: I use a Sharpie...

Go to your local office supply store and purchase a label maker. Mine uses a burn in image process that results in very nice labels. The label material is available in several widths. You can get white with black letters or black with white, your choice.
I purchased a Brother P-Touch, hand held, but eats batteries, no external power supply.
I use it to label wires that I install. Really assists the memory.

Tom,
I've got one of those label makers. There IS a power supply available,
cause I've got one.
What I want is a way to eliminate the wasted tape on either end of the
labels. That tape
is rather expensive when you cut off and discard half of it.

I just turn one battery around when not in use. And, I too hate wasting
those tape ends.!

Two tricks, one, make all your labels at one time with just one space in
between, then cut apart with scissors. Two, the tape is available in
clear with either white or black letters.
