Gene,
For $6 more you can have it delivered to your house if you’re not going to GMCMI in Rapid City. What could be easier!

Ken,
Ya well...one year ago on my way to Midwest classics rally, a spring clip on a rocker arm broke, and a rocker fell off of the "T". Pushrod and lifter popped out and oil pressure went to "0". Got towed home and replaced the stock rockers with a shaft system. Restarted motor and everything seemed fine. This spring after our winter trip I sent in the yearly oil sample to find that Aluminum, Copper and Iron numbers had tripled from the average I was experiencing. So I change the oil ran it another 2K miles and sent another sample only to find out that percentage wise, the numbers were up again. So something is going on in there and it is happening since I popped the lifter. I really don't want to loose an engine between home and somewhere out west. Decided that I really did not want to build another engine, so I ordered one from MTS. The engine is out, and while the trans is out I sent it for check and new seals. Found out it was on its last legs. I should have the new motor and trans, either this friday or next Monday. Will be doing a marathon install with hopes that everything works for the trip to Rapid City. Wish me LUCK!! See you at RC........

Toooo bad! We've sure had "good luck" with our Cads, haven't we? I was at
the engine shop yesterday. I've got a replacement crank there for the Cad
I first installed -- the one I completely rebuilt, then lost the thrust
bearing in twice. Since the engine I'm now running (the one that broke two
rocker pedestals before I installed the shafts) only received a
"freshening" before installed, I'm planning to reassemble that first engine
-- just in case.
Sure hope it works out for you to join us in RC. Kerry and I'll leave
Monday headed to Pueblo.
