I have a chance to pick up a Hadley air horn setup in need of a compressor for cheap [$100]
It has a fairly large tank. I have a spare Dana compressor although I haven't tested it it looks new
I was thinking of utilizing the tank in line for both the suspension and air horns. The extra compressor would be a backup or could be run simultaneously for faster fill time.
Thinking the tank would make it more useful for filling tires, float tubes, ect as well as improving the level time.
Thoughts? Anyone done something similar?

The PO of my GMC installed an air horn and tapped it into the suspension air system. He also installed a small 120v compressor under the sink (no furnace) and teed it to the suspension air system with shutoffs. Makes for a decent backup system. Also have a 25' hose reel on the 120v compressor for filling tires, etc.

I got the whole air horn system from Ebay and used the tank, the trumpets, and the solenoid valve on the GMC. Saving the new compressor and pressure switch for my other vehicle and as a spare if the original GMC compressor fails on a long trip. Teed into the existing air line to supply the tank that I mounted under the left hood. A tee right off that tank feeds the air horns for a nice sharp response and good air flow. Pretty sure it's only a 1 gallon tank, but now that capacity is added to the original GMC system.
